Methods & Qualifications

Methods

As a therapist, my goal is to help individuals create positive environments where they can learn and build from their strengths to thrive. You are your life expert; I want to help you by tailoring interventions that can help you achieve your goals.

I practice from a solution-focused and strength-based approach; I only utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

Mindfulness is also part of my therapeutic approach. I can help you learn how to implement relaxation techniques in a world that seems to never stop. I use exposure and “en vivo” exercises for anxiety disorders, as well as homework to help identify behavioral patters that may be interfering in reaching your goals.
